Langrid Input

Overview

Langrid Input is an application to support multilingual text input. Various translation services deployed in the Language Grid provide multilingual translations of input texts. The translation output can also be put into text areas of other applications.
For example, Japanese sentences can be inserted into Langrid Input to translate them into English. Then the translation can be inserted into a posting area of English BBS.

This application has a back translation function that retranslates the sentences that have been already translated into the original language, so users can check translation accuracy with their native languages (original language.) The application also has a function to control the user dictionary. This dictionary enables specialized translation. Users can edit multilingual dictionaries of their user's terminology with this function.
